You call and tell us where the car is
Tell us the address or cross streets and that you have a spare. If you know whether it is a full-size spare or a compact donut, mention that too.

We come to your car
We arrive with the tools to safely lift your vehicle, remove the flat wheel, and get the spare out of the trunk or from under the vehicle.

We check the spare's air pressure
A spare that has been sitting in the trunk for years is often low on air. We check the pressure and inflate the spare if it needs it before it goes on the car.

We install the spare and torque the lugs
The spare goes on, the lug nuts go back, and we tighten them to the proper torque so the wheel is secure. The flat goes in your trunk.
What to Do While You Wait
Safety first. If you are on the road, get off it if you safely can - onto a shoulder, side street, or parking lot.
Keep your hazard lights on so other drivers can see you.
Stay out of traffic. Stay inside the vehicle with your seatbelt on if you cannot get fully off the road.
Do not try to jack up the car on a soft shoulder or an incline - wait for us to arrive.
When This Fixes It
When your car has a usable spare, swapping the flat for the spare gets you moving again so you can drive home or to a safe spot.
Most compact donut spares are rated for about 50 mph and a limited distance - check the sidewall or your owner's manual for the exact limit. Take it easy and head somewhere safe.
When It Doesn't
A spare is a temporary wheel, not a permanent fix. You still need the flat tire repaired or a replacement mounted.
If the spare itself is flat, dry-rotted, or missing, we cannot install what is not there. In that case we look at repairing the flat on site or bringing a replacement tire.
Some vehicles do not come with a spare at all. Tell us what you have when you call and we will come prepared with the right plan.
